"I can't even begin to thank you enough for what you've done for my family. Knowing our child can save himself if he ever fell in the water is just an amazing feeling! I had wondered how much of his lessons he was truly retaining. I took the kids to my parents last night to swim for a little bit and he jumped in fully clothed! I'm not exaggerating when I tell you he was terrified of their pool. He would never go past the first step previously! When my dad told me he jumped in still dressed I couldn't believe it! I ran out to see him swimming like a little fish all over the pool! It was the most amazing feeling seeing him so happy and confident and knowing that he had faced his fear and is now enjoying the water!
"I have been thinking for days on how to put into words my gratitude for Live For Brie. Something more than "thank you" or "I am grateful." I don't think a word exists. A word that can describe what Live for Brie has given my girl. Giving a child the chance to live, the gift of life in the event of a tragedy. I am beyond grateful for the generous scholarship Live for Brie gifted my baby girl. ISR is hard, it's a commitment. There were days I wasn't sure I could do it. I told myself everyday that if my child was sick, I would give her antibiotics to heal. ISR was our antibiotic. I remembered countless stories I read of mothers who had lost their children to drowning. Mothers who will never get to hear their children laugh or cry again. I remembered that this was our best option to help keep my baby safe. None of this would have been possible without Live for Brie. I dont think I'll ever be able to thank you enough. Thank you for giving my girl a chance!"
