Self-Rescue Swim Lessons
Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) provides Self-Rescue Lessons to children 6 months old to 6 years old. Self-Rescue lessons are different from traditional swimming classes. ISR children learn to swim until they need air, roll onto their backs to float, rest and breathe, then roll back over to continue swimming. They are taught to repeat this sequence until they reach the safety of the steps of the pool or the shoreline. Babies as young as 6 months old learn to roll onto their backs to float, rest and breathe until help arrives.
